✨ Update — 11 October 2026

🍸 New Shades: Cocktail Hour Collection

  • 8 new GlamR shades added: the Cocktail Hour Collection (Soft Launch, Love Language, Golden Hour, Champagne Ivory, Dirty Martini, Tan Lines, Rose Tinted, Mimosa)
  • Find them in the Swatch Hub, or add them to My Colour Library via Add Shades

🏺 Jar Count Tracking

  • You can now track how many jars you own of each shade in My Colour Library
  • Every shade you mark as owned starts at 1 jar automatically — if you own backups, open the shade and tap the stepper to set the right number
  • Shades with more than one jar show a small "×N" badge on the tile

  • If the new jar counts or your owned marks don't look right after updating, click the Settings button in the left-hand corner and click "Restore my data"
  • You'll need to be signed in to your account for the restore to work

🫧 New Shade: Clear

  • A brand-new shade has landed in the GlamR colour library — Clear, a completely transparent dip powder with no colour at all
  • Perfect for sealing, mixing, and designs that let the sparkle underneath do the talking

🛠️ Shade Matching Fix

  • Crème Brûlée and other shades with special characters now display correctly in the library — a shade-matching bug has been squashed

🛠️ Shade data bug fixed

  • A bug has been fixed where saved shades and used/not-used marks were not showing in My Colour Library
  • If your saved shades and used marks are missing, you can restore them: click the Settings button in the left-hand corner, then click "Restore my data". You'll need to be signed in to your account for the restore to work.

🎨 My Colour Library, Reimagined

  • My Colour Library has a brand-new look — the same square photo tiles, aurora background, and search bar you know from Swatches, now across your personal library too
  • Shade counts are now always accurate — the header, stats, and footer all read from the one list, so the numbers always agree
  • Your library only ever holds the shades you choose — nothing is added for you, and new GlamR shades are picked individually via Add Shades
  • If you've ever hidden a shade, the footer now shows a "Restore hidden" link so nothing gets lost track of

📸 Swatch Photography Complete

  • Every shade in the GlamR Dip library now has a real photo swatch — the full shoot is done across every collection. What you see is the actual product, no more colour blocks or placeholders.

🌀 New Tutorial: Marbled Nails

  • The Marbled Nails technique tutorial is now live in the Tutorial Hub (Technique Tutorials, right after Aura Nails). Learn dip marbling — where the marble forms in the powder pot itself — with the full YouTube video, step-by-step Technique Coach, and Waips's Secret Lagoon + Over It marble set. Intermediate, about 65 minutes.

🔒 Your data, your device

  • Everything you create — sets, marks, custom colours, mixes — now lives only on your phone. Nothing gets uploaded to a server. This is the biggest privacy upgrade we've ever shipped, and it means nobody but you ever sees your stuff.

📥 Already a user? Grab your old stuff

  • If you saved sets or marked shades before this update, they're safe. Go to Settings → Restore my data to pull them onto your device — you'll need to be signed in (sign-in is optional and only used for this). One tap and you're set.

⚠️ Heads up: uninstall means gone

  • Because your data now lives on your device only, deleting the app removes it for good — no cloud backup. Export anything you want to keep before uninstalling. We'd rather tell you straight than surprise you.

✅ Mark your shades as used

  • Track which shades you've actually worn. Mark shades as used straight from the swatch page, batch-mark them from the Used filter with the new + button, and filter the hub by Used / Not used. Your list stays private to you.

📜 Policies, sorted

  • Fresh privacy policy, terms, disclaimer, EULA, and refund policy — all updated to match exactly how the app handles your data now. Links live in Settings.

🧭 Bottom Navigation Update

  • New SWATCH tab added to the bottom navigation bar
  • The Generator has been removed from the bottom nav — but don't worry, it's still fully accessible from the main screen and the menu screen

🖼️ Swatch Photos for Custom Colours

  • When adding a new colour, you can now upload a photo for its swatch — not just pick hex colours
  • Perfect for glitter, multichrome, and textured shades a single hex can't capture
  • Photos run through the same square-crop tool used for shade swatches, so every swatch stays clean and consistent

  • 29 GlamR glitter and multichrome shades now show real photo swatches instead of flat hex colour blocks
  • These complex shades can't be accurately represented by a single hex code, so actual product photos have been added for:
